Following my sketches, I tried to apply my idea on a physical model in order that I would be able to change and bend accordingly.  I needed my model to be flexible so I used chicken wired and covered it with fibre material.  The end result may not be so pleasing to the eye but it satisfied my purpose. Following this step, I actually selected a part from the whole shape and took it to the computer to continue to experiment and help me develop it further.
