Hello to all my study mates. I have one question for you. Why is it that we all seem to build up so much anxiety within us before a presentation when we can be so confident with ourselves and our work?
Also I'd like to thank Richard for his posting. A very intensive analysis and very well worded too.
This is my feedback on some of the works presented this morning:
Veronique Azzopardi: Your calm attitude towards presentations makes the viewer follow you intensively. You always give me the feeling that you always manage to say everything you planned to say and thus you always manage to convey your message well. A very positive element. Keep it up.
Gabriel Bezzina: Most convincing... with the right selection of words. You seem to follow a sequence that can never go wrong....it does always work for you doesn't it?..... It comes so natural to you too! Well done.I must say this is your forte. How do you do it? Teach me...lol
Cassandra Cutajar: You had an interesting display of your work. I enjoyed it throughout. The only thing that makes me comment about, was your repetitive use of the word "sempliciment". It somehow implies that there may have been little work involved, thus conveying the wrong message to viewers. Remember: Nothing is simple. Sometimes the simplest of things may be the most difficult to attain. Well done for all your ceramic work.
Christine Ellul: Your photo shop typography assignment really stood out. Also your 'burns' makeup was quite impressive too. Thumbs up :)
Martina Fenech Adami: You have the perfect tempo for presentations. Very well done. You convey your message well and I particularly liked the following: your figure painting, your lampshade straw concept, space cover magazine, and last but not least your 'tribal' collage.
Tamara Webb: Your work as well as your way of thinking is very distinctive and particular - The pencil heel, the bag made out of tea bag.... I can see your thinking out of the box. You have a passion for fashion and I admire you for it. No doubt you are a very creative person and it would be most interesting too, to see your creativity spanned out on other different sectors other than fashion. Sketches and drawings are of high quality. Work well presented.
Richard Cachia: You give me the impression that you're really into presentations. I can see that you were well prepared and your compilation of work was very varied and at the same time quite selective. Well done.
